HEALTHY LIFESSTYLE & CHILD UPBRINGING - Family Life Project

Without doubt, parenting remains a phenomenon that challenges the best in us as parents or guardians. Combining healthy choices and child upbringing is quite demanding. A dominant concern for parents and guardians is how the choices they make impact the life and for that matter future of the child and by extension the wellbeing of the family. In many situations, consulting with professionals to help you along becomes inevitable and the wisest thing to do for the right solution to challenges that might confront you. Today, we are privileged to have representatives of The Family Project Team in our studio to walk us through ‘The Journey So Far’ on the project which started in January of 2018 and further address issues, pertaining to Healthy Choices and Child Upbringing. The Family Project is collaborative efforts of the local West-African and Afro-Surinamese communities, health authorities from the Amsterdam Medical Centre (AMC), the GGD, Amsterdam Aanpak Gezond Gewicht and other professionals from Amsterdam Southeast.
